Fuel prices increase between US$0.26 and US$0.21 starting tomorrow

The Ministerio de Economía (MINEC), informs salvadorans the new variations in fuel prices that present an increase of US$0.26 and US$0.21, in premium gasoline, regular and diesel, effective from march 8 to 21, 2022.

Salvadorans who purchase premium gasoline in the central and western zones will see an increase of US$0.23 and in the eastern zone of US$0.22 with a suggested price of US$4.63 and US$4.59.

You can fill up your vehicle's tank today to save a few dollars and not be affected by the price increase.

People who buy regular gasoline will perceive an increase of US$0.21 in the central, western and eastern zones with a suggested price of US$4.47 and US$4.43.

Diesel in the western zone will increase US$0.26 and in the central and eastern zone of US$0.25, it also has a recommended price of US$4.28 and US$4.24. A well planned trip will allow you to reach your destination in the fastest, easiest and safest way, and saving fuel.

Use the air conditioning when necessary or else the car will use more gas, especially if you are driving at low speed.

The price of fuel varies depending on the gas stations. Even if the difference is only a few cents, on a full tank, it can mean a few dollars in savings.
