"We are very proud that their first option to request help in the implementation has been CABEI, this bank is not only a source of loans, we also provide technical assistance that we are willing to provide to our brother countries when they request it", said Dante Mossi, CABEI President, during the press conference.

The CABEI president said that at this stage they will be working with the Ministerio de Hacienda and Banco central de Reserva (BCR), with the objective of ensuring and that the policy is implemented successfully and that it is of benefit to the salvadoran population and thus have a technical team to lead the Government of El Salvador, as this makes it the first country in the world to adopt the cryptocurrency as a "legal tender".

Also, CABEI anticipated that the Bitcoin Law will require evaluations in regulatory changes, financial education and investment plans, among others, also said, that the technology that seeks to implement offers benefits as risks so you should know how to handle.

"In the technical assistance provided by the Bank, we will be selecting experts in the field to advise on how to implement this innovative reform, including risk assessment and regulation", said the CABEI president.

In addition, he said that the adoption of Bitcoin will require many adaptations of the regulatory framework, as well as in the means of payment as they are in the payment of taxes, among others, he said that a regulatory framework is needed and must be redenominated, so they are preparing the agenda of the citizen of how it will work in the new environment.

Likewise, he mentioned that there is no application for the trust for Bitcoin, he also highlighted that the topic is so new that they are in search of specialists to advise El Salvador in the best way.

"We are looking for the best advice, the best global practices. As CABEI we have partners in Europe, such as Spain, and in Asia, such as Taiwan and Korea, and we are going to listen to their advice on good practice. As they say: the good, the beautiful, the bad and the ugly so that El Salvador does not make mistakes that they may have made in the past", he added.
