The authorities of MITUR officially signed the contract with Casa 1800 wich will operate the property for five years, which will remain the property of the State. The hotel will start operations in October 2021 with food and lodging services, generating more than 100 direct and indirect jobs, 95% of which will be local.

"President Bukele's vision is to work for the country. There is no point in building a project that is not benefiting our people. After hard work, we have managed to award this property to a salvadoran company that will generate local employment and increase the influx of visitors to the destination", explained the minister of Tourism, Morena Valdez.

Casa 1800 Cerro Verde is presented as a solid proposal that takes advantage of the strengths of its trajectory to connect this new project with the offer of cruises, nature and adventure that this area of the country has to offer, allowing the productive chaining through the establishment of commercial relations with local suppliers.

Currently, more than 100,000 people visit Cerro Verde Natural Park annually, a destination considered a tourist jewel for its imposing natural infrastructure: the Izalco and Ilamatepec volcanoes.

"For 15 years we have been working to create a 360° tourism platform, which allows us to offer visitors a complete tourism offer with lodging services, food, transportation, day tours, tourism packages and organization of congresses and events...Tourism brings employment, brings development. It makes businesses grow. It makes new companies emerge and, in addition, it not only provides jobs, but good jobs", explained Cecilia Arias, representative of Casa 1800.
