Supermarkets and wholesalers will be fined up to 500 minimum wages if they increase prices of 20 food items

The Defensoría del Consumidor (DC) and the Superintendencia de Competencia held a meeting with representatives of supermarkets and wholesale stores to address the issue of tax exemption of food tariffs.
