Written by Evelyn Alas

DISENSA, the largest hardware store network in Latin America, part of the Grupo Holcim, exalts the important work done by those engaged in the construction trade through "La Mera Mezcla", a virtual series loaded with a touch of humor and everyday situations in this sector.

"DISENSA launches today the first web series produced in El Salvador in conjunction with Channel 4: La Mera Mezcla. A program that tells the daily life of two construction workers who face different situations, as protagonists of this sector. With this production, we highlight the value of our customers who always seek for their projects close solutions and products with the best quality and good price", said Claudia Castillo, Marketing Director of DISENSA.

Throughout the first season and with a very salvadoran style, the characters "Alex a la obra" and "Rao Misa Amaya" will capture the successes, last minute purchase decisions, learning new work techniques, friendships and other situations that occur daily in a construction.

The first episode of DISENSA's "La Mera Mezcla" will be available starting friday, august 19 at 8:00 p.m. on the Facebook platforms of Disensa El Salvador and Channel 4, and a summary will be broadcast on the programs La Polémica, DC4 and Tiempo Extra. Each week a new chapter will be uploaded, with new adventures and misadventures of the characters that seek to replicate the situation of thousands of salvadoran workers dedicated to this trade.

"Humor is an excellent tool to understand many situations of our environment, that is why we decided to produce “La Mera Mezcla”, so that between laughter and anecdotes we can transfer empathy and value to the work done by masons and master builders in the country. They are the ones that build our houses, buildings, roads, bridges, etc. And the long-term strength and durability of the project depends on the decisions they make about what cement to buy and where to buy it", Castillo said.
