Committed to the development of the country through education and continuing education, Claro El Salvador delivered 169 new scholarships to children of employees, who, with their good grades, are preparing to face the challenges of tomorrow and become leaders of society.

The Becas Claro Program, in addition to being an economic support for employees, is a mechanism for recognizing the talent and dedication of students who strive and achieve their academic goals, training for success in their professional lives.

"The Becas Claro are not only a recognition of achievement, but also an investment in the promising future of the youngest members of the big Claro family. With education as a foundation, I am confident that they will continue to make significant contributions to society and reach new heights in their academic and professional careers", said Sergio Chueca, Country director of Claro El Salvador.

The Becas Claro have been awarded since 2010, benefiting to date more than 1,900 children and young people, allowing them to complete their primary, basic and high school education in the educational centers of their choice.

"I congratulate not only the students, but also the parents and family members who have played a fundamental role in their success. Their unwavering support has contributed significantly to their academic growth and development", said Claro El Salvador's country director.

To be a scholarship holder, students, children of Claro El Salvador employees, must have a good academic performance, with an average of 8.5, but, above all, have a great desire to excel.
