El Salvador and arab countries to deepen cooperation, economic and trade relations

The Group of Heads of Mission of Arab Countries accredited in El Salvador (GRUJPA) highlighted that now salvadoran diplomacy has opened up to the world. In addition, they explained that as a diplomatic group they plan to promote joint activities.

 

 

The purpose of this meeting was to learn firsthand the formation of this group, which will work from their diplomatic missions, to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as the promotion of initiatives for the benefit of salvadorans.

In the meeting with the group of diplomats representing the nations of Palestine, Qatar and Morocco, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandra Hill, stressed the importance of deepening cooperation, economic and trade relations with these countries, which in recent years have managed to position themselves as leaders in various areas.

"We want to further strengthen relations as a group, and each in bilateral, we see how salvadoran diplomacy has opened to the world", said the ambassador of Palestine in the country, Marwan Jebril.

During this space, the Chancellor of the Republic highlighted the openness of El Salvador in the concert of nations, especially with countries in the Middle East and Africa. She also said that the opening of the Embassy of El Salvador in Morocco represented a milestone in the national diplomatic history.

The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of the State of Palestine, Marwan Jebril; and the Chargé d'Affaires of the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco, Fahad Salem Al-Marri and Brahim Baddi, respectively.

The Chancellor thanked individually each of the countries that make up this group for the cooperation initiatives that have allowed the development of our population. She thanked Palestine for the projects carried out in the agricultural and health fields. He also expressed his gratitude for the support to projects in the areas of tourism, territorial development and health.
