The Ministry of Tourism (MITUR) informs salvadorans that the tourism projection at the end of 2021 will be US$1,447 million in foreign exchange from tourism.

Regarding domestic tourism, that is to say salvadoran travel within the national territory, the President of the Instituto Salvadoreño de Turismo, Eny Aguiñada, assured that she expects to close the year with 9.2 million trips, reaching an economic mobility of US$295 million.

Regarding recreational parks, she said that they expect to close the year with 1.7 million visitors, generating more than US$2 million in economic income.

During the Christmas and New Year's season, many salvadorans living abroad decide to travel to the country to visit family and friends. They support the country in the income from the reception of tourists and the realization of domestic tourism that helps local consumption.

When talking about tourism in El Salvador, one has to talk about the Mayan culture and the entire legacy they left behind, which to this day remains and generates a series of mysteries.

The country has the Royal Decameron Salinitas Hotel located in Acajutla, Sonsonate very close to the different Mayan routes and the comfort to stay in comfortable rooms facing the sea, next to a saltwater pool that is filled daily by the variation of the tide and the right of an all-inclusive gastronomic menu created by professional chefs.

Don't wait any longer to enjoy this experience to start 2022 and make your reservation at www.decameron.com or you can also call 2209 3000.
