BCR to hire 10,210 people to carry out population census

The Banco Central de Reserva (BCR) announced on its social networks job offers for people who wish to be part of the population census.

The BCR said it is looking for census takers, who will be paid a monthly salary of US$815. Those interested may apply from march 1 to 15.

In this position, the hired people will have to carry out the collection of information of the population and housing census within the deadlines established by the entity.

Those who apply for these positions must meet certain requirements, such as having a bachelor's degree and having experience in a data collection project, as well as use of cell phones and mobile applications.

There are 10,210 people, who will be hired and trained. Of this portion, 2,467 will be located in the department of San Salvador and 1,233 in La Libertad.

"In addition, at least 5,105 eligible people will be selected, who meet the requirements and are ready to be considered in case a vacancy or future need arises”, states the BCR.

The financial institution is also looking for brigade supervisors who will participate in the census, with a monthly tax-free salary of US$1,200 in the same application period.

The financial institution will hire 2,437 candidates who pass the selection process.

Brigade supervisor candidates will be required to handle applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point, know how to prepare reports and handle mobile devices and applications.

The institution states on its web page that the services for both types of positions will begin in april and will end on june 29, 2024.
