Today was inaugurated the Sivar Land amusement park

The mayor of San Salvador, Mario Durán, inaugurated today the Sivar Land amusement park and said that the capital is ready to celebrate its patron saint festivities in honor of the Divine Savior of the World in an atmosphere of security, order, cleanliness and family atmosphere.

The mayor anticipated that the prelude to the amusement park Sivar Land 2023 will be on july 29, 30 and 31 in the grounds of the Cuscatlán Stadium. Officially all the activities of the Fiestas Agostinas will begin on tuesday, august 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

In addition, actions to be carried out during and after the activities prepared by the municipality have been defined and can be consulted on the website www.sivarland.com.

He detailed that the municipal plan to be executed during the Fiestas Agostinas 2023 will be accompanied by amusement rides, parades, cultural and recreational activities.

"We are ready to develop the best Fiestas Agostinas in history, as President Nayib Bukele taught us, the people are given the best, that is why we are ready to offer the best amusement park in the country. After the success of last year's festivities we expect in this 2023 to surpass what we ourselves achieved since Sívarland received more than 1 million visitors", said Durán.

In addition, the Dirección de Desechos Sólidos has assigned 200 collaborators to sweep streets, unblock drains, clean gutters and sidewalks, evacuate waste and install more than 600 barrel-type garbage cans during all the activities that will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12 midnight.

Also, Protección Civil Municipal,, along with emergency services, will maintain a presence in the parades, Sívarland and the Historic Center to respond to emergencies, through a command post and the Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia Municipal (COEM).

Likewise, the space will have 610 elements of the Cuerpo de Agentes Metropolitanos (CAM) in coordination with the Policía Nacional Civil (PNC) and the Fuerza Armada de El Salvador (FAES), who will also ensure road order and safety.

In addition, a modern video surveillance system has been installed in Sívarland and its surroundings, with dozens of cameras that will be controlled by municipal agents in a Monitoring Center.
