This extensive plan contemplates coordination mechanisms and control of operations in religious events, highways, recreational parks, beaches, stores, and massive concentrations. The actions will be implemented in strategic intervention scenarios, where a high influx of people is expected.

"With the objective of providing timely attention to any emergency during vacations, we will be developing, together with all Civil Protection agencies at all levels, the summer 2024 plan (...) The Government will be working permanently, 24/7, focused on these strategies", said the director of Civil Protection, Luis Alonso Amaya.

The authorities informed that the Lifeguard Unit will be maintained in 110 strategic points in 28 beaches that usually have the greatest affluence, throughout the territory. Likewise, the personnel of the Tactical Operational Teams of Civil Protection will oversee monitoring religious events and entertainment activities, to provide immediate attention to any emergency.

Meanwhile, the minister of Public Works, Romeo Rodríguez, informed that there will be more than 15,000 people between traffic managers, police, Ministry of Defense personnel and other institutions who will collaborate in the vehicular devices in streets and highways. During the holiday period, 1,255 vehicular devices will be installed, and more than 5,000 anti-doping tests will be carried out.

In addition, Rodriguez informed that starting tomorrow there will be a traffic restriction for cargo transportation on the road to the Port of La Libertad, from the Utila traffic circle, passing through the Camino a Surf City bypass, up to the Conchalío traffic circle. Also, on the stretch of the Litoral highway, Riomar sector and Las Flores beach.
