CONAMYPE shared advances in MSMEs

The President of CONAMYPE, Paul Steiner was part of the conference "Expanding International Market Opportunities for MSMEs", was held the discussion of the final draft of the Inter-American dialogue, an event that brings together the highest authorities on micro, small and medium enterprises.

Formalization, financial inclusion, female entrepreneurship, and digitalization, are the topics discussed at this event that marks a starting point for the transformation of enterprises:

  • Financial Inclusion: Promote initiatives to expand access to financing and financial products tailored to the needs of MSMEs.
  • ECommerce: Create strategies to promote e-commerce, opening doors to new markets and customers.
  • Digitalization: Adaptation of MSMEs to the digital era, enhancing their market presence through innovative technologies that enable them to market their products or services through e-commerce and reach international markets.
  • Export: Support to encourage MSMEs to expand their commercial horizons and actively participate in international and higher-value trade.
  • Female Entrepreneurship: Promotion of gender equality in business, recognizing, empowering, and strengthening the role of women in the economy.
  • Formalization: Efforts to integrate MSMEs into the formal economy, improving their access to resources so that they obtain more marketing benefits with the local market through public procurement and international trade.

This dialogue is crucial for the economic development of our region, as it addresses fundamental issues that will promote the growth and competitiveness of our MSEs, it also represents an unprecedented opportunity for entrepreneurs to benefit from inclusive and supportive policies that foster their development and success in the international arena.
