In addition, the authorizations through CIEX El Salvador's Gestor Documental, have been 781 requests for certificates of origin, creation of products, 1,294 requests for export visas and health certificates to export and re-export.

As of this date, the procedure for receiving applications by e-mail or in person will be "replaced by this modality".

They remind that the Gestor Documental is very easy to use and allows exporters to monitor their procedures in real time, saving operating costs.

They also recommend reading the Manual de Usuario del Gestor Documental, as well as verifying that the authorized users and their contact emails are updated in SICEX, since these will be the means of communication for the management and attention of cases in the Gestor Documental.

CIEX El Salvador is administered by the Banco Central de Reserva (BCR), and is the Single Window for Foreign Trade of El Salvador, which centralizes, streamlines and simplifies the legally established procedures for the registration, authorization and issuance of documents of the different State institutions involved in import and export operations.
