Telephone companies provide details of collections and delinquencies to the Financial Commission

The Financial Commission of the Legislative Assembly called representatives of four telephone companies operating in the country, with access to different telephone, internet and cable services.

The deputies of the Commission, expressed that, the salvadoran population requested through the email they have provided, an improvement of the services provided by the different telephone companies due to failures they present when making use of them.

In addition, the deputies asked about what is the financing plan for services and how much is the late payment charge for late payments by users.

In the Financial Commission, the representatives of the companies expressed that 99% of salvadorans pay their telephone, cable or internet bills on time and added that they charge approximately US$3 for late payments and give discount opportunities for those who for some reason have not been able to pay.

The four companies added that they do not charge interest on telephone devices, the device is delivered at the real price, so that salvadorans can be satisfied with the services they provide.

In addition, the leaders of the telephone companies expressed their support for the changes made by the Financial Commission.
