This tuesday, the Secretary of Innovation, Daniel Méndez; and the director of training of the Secretariat of Innovation, Doris Jaime; began the registration process of the academic offer in Higher Technical Studies (TSU), with the purpose of training the salvadoran population in digital skills essential for employability and socioeconomic growth.

"We are pleased to announce the alliance between CISCO Networking Academy and the Ministry of Innovation, where we will be able to provide quality content to the entire salvadoran population. From today, education in cybersecurity and different subjects such as English and other topics will no longer be something privileged", said the Secretary of Innovation.

ESIT makes available to the population four academic programs of higher education completely free of charge, designed to empower students with fundamental knowledge for the development of functions in the following areas: cybersecurity, cloud services, open source software development and data center operation.

"We believe that what we have in our hands today, thanks to the strategic vision of President Nayib Bukele, is a gift for the entire salvadoran population, where we will be able to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities for employability and for all the challenges that the new Law for the Promotion of Innovation and Manufacturing of Technologies brings", said the secretary.

Enrollment will be from august 15 to 30 and the course will begin on september 1.

The Government of President Bukele reiterates its commitment to provide specialized cutting-edge education with specialized academic training under international standards in innovation and technology.
