Members of the Colegio de Profesionales en Ciencias Económicas (COLPROCE) analyzed the country's economic situation and recommended the government to create a plan for the payment of the US$800 million debt that matures in january 2023.

COLPROCE held a forum in which they presented the analysis of the salvadoran situation, highlighting the debt that the country has and recommended the Executive to cancel it through discounted payments to avoid acquiring more loans, however, a plan must be created to reduce the impact it will have on the economy of the population.

In addition, the specialists evaluated different economic issues and highlighted the establishment of policies focused on reducing the levels of indebtedness or seeking new alternatives to increase the country's income.

They also stated that inflation has been the cause of the low economic growth. Another of the topics addressed at the forum was the issue of pensions and their possible reforms.
