Salvadorans to pay US$4.15 per gallon for regular gasoline

Minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem, informed in a press conference that fuel prices for this fortnight from may 31 to june 15, 2022, the maximum fuel prices will remain the same.

For salvadorans who consume regular gasoline, they will continue paying US$4.15 per gallon to service stations in the central, western and eastern zones.

People who buy super gasoline will pay only US$4.31 per gallon in the central and western zones, and in the eastern zone they will pay US$4.32 per gallon.

The price will remain at US$4.14 per gallon for those who use diesel.

The head of MINEC, said that since march we are implementing measures to ensure that the prices paid by salvadorans (for products) are fair and have quality.
