This was informed by José Antonio Pereira, branch manager of Banco Hipotecario, who said that the goal is to expand these services in order to be closer to Salvadorans and respond to their needs.
"As a financial institution, today we are expanding this remittance payment service so that our salvadoran brothers and sisters who are outside our borders have the opportunity to send economic aid to their families and can be collected at Banco Hipotecario", he explained.
Banco Hipotecario has 4 agencies and 21 offices nationwide where remittance beneficiaries only have to approach, present their DUI number and their password, either 80 or 13 digits.
Therefore, it is important that salvadorans tell their relatives abroad to send their remittances through the CUSCA remittance network so they can pick them up at any of our 55 points around the country.
CUSCA Remittances has alliances with the main remittance companies around the world, among them MoneyGram, Ria, Dolex, Barri, Boss Revolution. Intermex, Maxi, Remitly, Sigue, Viaméricas, Xoom, among others.
With this new alliance Banco Hipotecario seeks to expand and offer a quality service to the entire salvadoran population, making available services closer to their location in order to avoid the cost of time, effort and money.
