AES CLESA invests US$760 thousand in projects to improve the power grid

AES El Salvador, through its company AES CLESA, invested US$760 thousand in the execution of five projects for the improvement and expansion of its electrical network in the departments of Santa Ana, Sonsonate, Ahuachapán and La Libertad, benefiting more than 10 thousand residential, commercial and industrial customers.

"We continue developing modernization initiatives to guarantee the quality of energy received by our users", said Levis Marroquín, Construction supervisor of AES CLESA.

AES detailed that, in the municipality of Ciudad Arce, department of La Libertad, it built a new circuit to guarantee the reliability of the energy service in the industrial complexes of the locality. In addition, it developed the expansion of its electrical infrastructure in the municipality of Texistepeque, in Santa Ana; and installed new state-of-the-art equipment for the prevention of network failures in Tacuba and San Juan Opico, municipalities of Ahuachapán and La Libertad, respectively.

With these investments, AES El Salvador reinforces its commitment to the transformation of the power grid in western El Salvador and La Libertad, bringing world-class service to its customers to accelerate the future of energy.
