POLLO CAMPERO opens its 100th restaurant in the U.S.

Throughout its 53-year history, Pollo Campero, synonymous with warmth, family and unique flavor, continues to transcend generations and borders with the opening of its 100th restaurant in the United States, located in Miami, Florida.

This important milestone is part of the USD$190 million investment plan for the expansion and growth of the brand in the U.S. territory announced by Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI) in 2022. As part of its strategic vision, Pollo Campero plans to open at least 25 more restaurants in the U.S. by the end of this year and, by 2027, plans to increase its presence in the U.S. with 250 locations.

Despite its constant evolution and innovation, the brand remains true to its values and to the "tender, juicy and crunchy" flavor that has characterized it over the years. 100 restaurants in the United States Pollo Campero's history began in 1971 as a modest family restaurant in El Salvador and Guatemala.

In 2002, it began its adventure in the United States and, since then, has maintained a steady and deliberate growth, bringing its unique flavor with a local menu that highlights the traditional fried and grilled chicken, its delicious potatoes, yucca sticks and Campero sandwich with different side options.

Currently, the brand has a team of more than 10,000 employees and is present in El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico (Tapachula), Honduras, Ecuador, Europe and, of course, the United States.

In continuity with innovation and evolution, this year the brand celebrates the opening of its 100th restaurant in the United States, expanding its presence in 19 states of the North American country, where it generates around 2,500 direct jobs.

This is a year full of historic moments for a brand as beloved and recognized as Pollo Campero, which continues to put Central America on a high note.
