As part of the fisheries management measures to protect the sustainable development of marine shrimp, the Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG), through the Centro de Desarrollo de la Pesca y la Acuicultura (CENDEPESCA), established the national marine shrimp ban from may 2 to june 15 of this year.

The Dirección General de Estadísticas y Censos (DIGESTYC), states in its Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) report, in february 2022 was 120.3, registering an increase of 0.79%, said variation is 0.17 percentage points higher with respect to the result of january 2022.
