The Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores (Cancillería)  promotes Economic Diplomacy, which is a strategy to promote business with international markets, attract foreign investment, and promote El Salvador's tourist destinations; in order to generate more development opportunities for the country and welfare for the population.
