Tomorrow is the last day to file municipal taxes in physical form

Written by Karla Gutiérrez

More than 59 thousand businesses operating in the municipality of San Salvador are required to file their annual municipal tax returns for the first quarter of the year, period that ends on march 31st. The process must be carried out at any of the nine Puntos de Atención Empresarial (PAE) or through the website www.sait.sv

The Puntos de Atención Empresarial (PAE) will be open during normal hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. without closing at noon, on march 25, 26 and 27 for taxpayers to carry out any procedure in person, as well as to file the annual municipal tax return and renew licenses, license plates and permits.

On march 28, 29, 30 and 31, when the PAE will not be open, taxpayers can comply with their obligations by filing their returns and completing their paperwork online through the site www.sait.sv to avoid penalties.

The Mayor's Office of San Salvador calls all taxpayers to file their annual municipal tax returns and comply with their obligations to the municipality within the established deadlines.
