The project will be financed by the European Union at a cost of US$ 5 million euros. The project will be implemented by the French international technical cooperation agency, Expertise France.
It also includes the participation of strategic partners: Cámara Salvadoreña de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicaciones (CASATIC), the Organización por el empoderamiento y la educación de las mujeres jóvenes en El Salvador “Muchas Más”, the Fundación Pro-Educación de El Salvador "Funpres" and the Cámara de Centros de Formación Profesional de El Salvador.
"It is estimated that in the next three years we will benefit three thousand young people, but by leveraging and partnering with the public sector we hope to increase the number of beneficiaries and reach more than 30 thousand young people", said María Luisa Hayem, head of the Ministry of Economy.
The french ambassador also mentioned that thanks to the country's security, the right conditions can now be created for the training of young people through the LAMARR project.
