"The strategic investments made in our digital platforms seek to optimize our clients' access to new technologies. We have accompanied them throughout this process, becoming their advisors and will continue to do so. This has been of utmost importance for the expansion of our solutions at a regional level. This appointment demonstrates that we are contributing to the growth and development of our portfolio of corporate and institutional clients", commented Ana Cristina López, CCO of Citi in El Salvador.

Citi received a total of eight awards in regional subcategories that recognized the digital products and services offered to clients, which include its online cash management, investment management, information security, mobile banking app and payments services.

"Transformation remains critical for treasurers and chief financial officers (CFOs) in the fast-growing digital economy. Citi is committed to helping clients drive their digital transformation across Latin America and connect directly with the bank through our award-winning CitiDirect and CitiConnect platforms, and assist clients with real-time payments, decision making, cash forecasting, liquidity management, working capital, risk management, fraud and cybersecurity", said Driss Temsamani, Head of Digital Solutions for the Americas at Citi Treasury & Trade Solutions.

Organizations continue to embrace digital business models and treasurers increasingly expect real-time experiences. In that regard, Citi continues to invest in platforms and tools such as Citi Global Instant Payments, which provides seamless connectivity to instant payment programs around the world.
