"Alianza para el Desarrollo: Alto Impacto Usulután holds first Job Fair"

Agrisal, with its brand Plaza Mundo, the Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau (FRMA), in alliance with the Universidad Gerardo Barrios and the Municipal Center for the Prevention of Violence Usulután, will carry out the first job fair in order to support the residents of the municipality of Usulután and the eastern zone.

In this initiative, 18 companies allied to the project offered a total of 400 job openings. The Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau, through the Alto Impacto Usulután, focuses on improving the quality of life of families in the municipality by articulating key sectors to increase opportunities for economic and social development.

Carla Meyer, executive director of the Foundation, explained that the project has been working on four fundamental components: Collective Impact, Economic Growth, Youth Development and Social Fabric, with the objective of positively impacting more than 2,000 inhabitants of the community through various workshops and activities. The main objective of the job fair was to facilitate the encounter between employers and job seekers, fostering the economic growth of the municipality and surrounding areas through the generation of job opportunities.

In addition, the Alto Impacto Usulután, implemented by the Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau with the support of Agrisal and Plaza Mundo since march 2023, seeks to improve the quality of life of families in the region, strengthening the social fabric and contributing to youth development.

"Very soon the Plaza Mundo shopping center will open its doors and will be a pillar of development and welfare for the communities of Usulután and its surroundings, generating employment opportunities, through the intervention of the Fundación Rafael Meza Ayau and our allies, we are working to improve the quality of life of people in this region", said Julio Contreras, manager of Plaza Mundo Shopping Center.

So far, Plaza Mundo Usulután has 90% of commercial placement, it will have an excellent offer in supermarkets, entertainment, footwear, clothing, pharmacies, food, services, banks, beauty, health, appliances, among others, and the construction progress is at 70%, to open its doors at the end of the semester of 2024.
