Written by Evelyn AlasThe Comisión Ejecutiva Hidroeléctrica del Río Lempa (CEL), has a team of 44 Resource Guards to protect seven areas, among which 221 reforested plots have been divided in sectors of the perimeter of the reservoir of the 3 de Febrero Hydroelectric Power Plant, in compliance with the environmental measure of reforestation, with an assisted natural regeneration approach, established as compensation during the construction and operation stages of our fifth hydroelectric power plant.
