A virtual attention kiosk of the Defensoría del Consumidor was inaugurated at the regional headquarters of the Centro Nacional de Registros (CNR) in San Francisco Gotera, Morazán.

The digital kiosks are virtual windows through which the user can request advice and manage consumer complaints and in turn, have access to information and educational material about their rights as consumers.

As self-service interactive devices, consumers can share and receive information in the form of text, images or video, as well as establish direct communication with staff from the Centro Nacional de Registros.

The articulation of efforts between the Defensoría del Consumidor and the CNR for the benefit of the consumer population is based on the inter-institutional cooperation framework agreement for the installation and provision of services for the promotion and protection of consumer rights, mainly for the users of the Centro Nacional de Registros.
