Tigo will hold its First Technology Festival in the country open to the public

True to its commitment to promote the digital transformation of our country through innovative products and services, Tigo brings together the best of the technology industry and makes it available to all salvadorans through its first Tech Fest, to be held on september 22, 23 and 24 in Salamanca.

Tigo Tech Fest will bring together international brands, recognized for their broad portfolio of technology products and services such as Samsung, Huawei, Honor, ZTE, Bmobile, Xiaomi, among others.

In addition, it will bring together international speakers with extensive experience in topics related to the digital industry who will present about their experience in the industry.

Among the invited speakers are:

  • Kelly Vero: futurist and architect of the metaverse with more than 30 years of experience in the technology and video game industry. She is an expert in the metaverse and trends in virtual reality, gamification and their business opportunities in different markets.
  • Guillem Graejl: Director of the FCB Brand area of FC Barcelona. He previously worked at Codorniu Raventós winery where he was global marketing and communication director since january 2014. He also previously worked at Procter & Gamble (P&G) between 1999 and 2007, where he held various positions in the marketing department.
  • Uri Levine: He is world-renowned as the co-founder of Waze, the traffic, mapping and navigation app that relies on data from its community, the largest in the world.

The Tigo Tech Fest not only brings together the best of technology, but also, our guests will enjoy the best live music, food, gaming, presentations and many other details that we are sure will remain in the minds of salvadorans", said manager of Events and Sponsorships of Tigo El Salvador, Luis Padilla.

Meanwhile, the marketing manager of Tigo, Estela Castillo said that "During our 30 years of operation in El Salvador we have been characterized by being at the forefront and offer the country mobile technology services and comprehensive digital services to more than 45% of the population. The technology we have developed and strengthened allows us to accompany thousands of salvadorans in their daily lives and, now, we also want to accompany them in this exploration of technology gathered in the Tech Fest".

Registration Method

All Tigo customers will be able to enter the Tigo Tech Fest for free, as a way to reward the loyalty and preference of its users. Customers only need to register at Tigo.com.sv and will receive an access code on their cell phones that they must show at the entrance of the event.

Salvadorans who are not yet Tigo customers can pay through Smart ticket, $10, and if they pay through Tigo Money it will cost $5.
