The President of the Defensoría del Consumidor 's Office, Ricardo Salazar, expressed that this module will be very useful and of mutual benefit for consumers and the Defensoría's Office through this tool will be able to contribute to give a greater and better coverage, as well as a timely and quality attention to users, and at no cost.

Through "Agenda tu cita", consumers will be able to plan and establish the date, time and place that is most convenient for them to visit one of the 51 service points located in different parts of the country, either through the central offices or departmental offices.

"The great opportunity and benefit of this self-management module is that consumers will be able to establish at their convenience where and when to be attended by the Defensoria's Office", said Ricardo Salazar.

He also explained that the Defensoria's staff will be at a shopping mall on certain dates, and users will also be able to schedule an appointment to be seen there, which will save time and resources.

The President of the Defensoria's Office explained that some of the benefits generated by this module, “Agenda tu cita”, are the efficient use of time and resources of consumers; health care, both for consumers, by reinforcing biosecurity measures by the COVID-19, as well as physical distance; greater effectiveness and efficiency in the attention and provision of services, and quality and warmth in the attention of the population.
