Written by Evelyn Alas

The Ministry of Finance reminds taxpayers that the last day to file and pay Income Tax (ISR) for fiscal year 2022 is tomorrow, may 2.

The process is easy and safe, through the online services of this State Portfolio; you can enter the website www.mh.gob.sv in the "DGII Online Services" section, there you will find the automatic calculation of your income, expenses and withholding tax that lead you to define your ISR filing. In this platform you can enter deductions in the applicable cases and only if you have receipts for them.

To make the payment, taxpayers may do so at the Central Collection Office at the order of the General Directorate of Treasury and at the institutions of the authorized financial system. In addition, the payment order includes a NPE with which you can pay your taxes quickly and securely, in the electronic means of banks or in their agencies.
