MITUR and IBERIA sign agreement to boost tourism from Spain

The minister of Tourism, Morena Valdez, said this morning in a morning interview that together with the airline IBERIA they will sign an agreement today to consolidate the promotion and new travel options for the European continent.

For the institution, the idea is to strengthen the relations that the Central Government has with the airlines and obviously to get more market.  The official added that Iberia is a strategic partner for El Salvador.

Roberto Daura, Iberia's commercial delegate for Central America and Venezuela, explained that this year the airline seeks to consolidate the commercial relationship with the salvadoran nation that is part of IBERIA, and today afternoon they will sign actions to put America in Europe, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The agreement to be signed by MITUR and IBERIA will bring benefits such as: promotional campaigns.

The airline in Latin America operates in 16 countries, in 18 cities, Mexico has 2 to 3 daily flights, Colombia 10, Buenos Aires, 2 flights and the other places where they work are between 7 to 10 trips.

The airline considers that the increases in air ticket prices are due to the supply and demand of flying.

Also, the President of the Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA), explained that the different authorities met with representatives of all the airlines to address the issue of good treatment to passengers.

Now the country is transforming into a tourist offer and it is necessary to have dignity and good treatment to the passenger and IBERIA will have more benefit options for passengers who wish to travel to Europe or visit El Salvador.
