Ministry of Finance hands over remodeled offices of the Centro de Atención Exprés, in Soyapango

The Minister of Finance, Alejandro Zelaya, delivered this morning the remodeled offices of the Centro de Atención Exprés, in Soyapango. The facilities provide a safe environment and optimal conditions for an excellent attention to users.

The official said that around US$300 thousand have been invested in the remodeling of this express center and added that it is vital because there is a large number of taxpayers who come to this place.

Among the services provided by the Centro de Atención Exprés are: tax assistance, income tax refunds and online services, as well as reception and processing of the Contract of Acceptance of Termination of Internet Services of the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos (DGII).

The Centro de Atención Exprés, in Soyapango will benefit an average of more than 35,000 users and taxpayers from the municipalities of Ciudad Delgado, Ilopango, San Martín and Tonacatepeque, as well as those traveling from the departments of Cuscatlán, Cabañas and the eastern zone.

In addition, the facilities of the Centro de Atención Exprés will attend to the calculation of fines and interest and the preparation of payment orders, reception of writs, registration, replacement, modification of NIT for individuals and legal entities.

The users of the Centro de Atención Exprés will be able to carry out procedures such as requesting the issuance of invoice correlatives, assistance for the replacement of the Número de Identificación Tributaria (NIT) with the Documento Único de Identidad (DUI).

He thanked the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for being a friendly arm for the country and supporting the financing of this remodeling. We hope this is the beginning of great news for the Centro de Atención Exprés.
