With this alliance, Banco Promerica seeks to support the fulfillment of the Development Goals (SDGs) and give attention to the environmental and social sector.

The entity promotes sustainability because it is the new way of doing business and contributing to the development of the markets where Promerica operates.

We appreciate the support of FUNDEMAS in accompanying our initiatives and projects in sustainability and CSR to amplify the effect of positive impacts", said Laura Ávalos, assistant manager of Sustainability and Correspondent Banking.

During 2020 FUNDEMAS carried out different actions to promote CSR and sustainability in El Salvador, adapting its strategy to the context of Covid-19, and with the support of its member companies, donors, public institutions and civil society organizations.

On june 16, the Fundación Empresarial para la Acción Social, FUNDEMAS, held its XXI General Assembly of members, an occasion on which it rendered an account of its annual management and celebrated another year of its anniversary; it also welcomed new companies, including Banco Promerica, which have joined in promoting sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the country.
