With the opening of this Express Center, the aim is to bring services closer to all residents of San Salvador and its surroundings, informing them that, as of February 15, they will no longer need to travel to the central offices of the Ministry of Finance.

The facilities have been prepared to be able to serve the public with guarantees of sanitary controls to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition, they have parking and properly trained personnel to serve you in an agile and efficient manner from Monday to Friday from 7:30 in the morning to 3:30 in the afternoon.

NIT and VAT procedures for individuals and legal entities

Presentation of the Contract of Acceptance of terms of registration of services by Internet, assignment of roles and change of mail of the General Directorate of Internal Taxes.

Requests for authorization of correlative numbering for single form, and recording machine tickets.

Taxpayer Assistance

Reception of Correspondence from this General Directorate

Issuance of payment orders for assessment resolutions and/or fines that are not yet administratively final.

Guidance in the modification of tax returns resulting from assessments for reduction of credit balance.

Attention to taxpayers for VAT refund requests to exporters

Attention to taxpayers for requests for Income Tax Refunds greater than $5,000.00 or refunds for undue or excess payment of this tax.
