US$5,000 dollars are the funds earmarked for the handicraft sector

The National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE) together with the Consejo de Administración del Fondo Especial de los Recursos Provenientes de la Privatización de (ANTEL) (FANTEL), delivered funds for more than US$5,000 to artisans.

There are ten winners of the Financing Competition for the implementation of quality and innovation standards in micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the handicraft sector, launched in November of last year.

This contest seeks to link entrepreneurs in the handicraft sector to gain access to financing and support the implementation of quality standards, innovation and technologies in artisanal workshops.

After receiving the check, the entrepreneurs must complete the fund liquidation process, for which they will be accompanied by professional advisors from CONAMYPE.

The follow-up after this process is three months until the delivery of the final report on the execution of the fund and the extension of the settlement of the closing of the process.
