Samsung opened its doors to children from several schools in the region

Written by Sandy Velasco

As part of the volunteer activities organized by Samsung Latin America's Corporate Citizenship management, employees from offices in eight countries in the region received children from schools at their work sites, with the purpose of welcoming Christmas and sharing a happy day.

Samsung's offices in Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic opened their doors to receive visits from children from educational centers and care homes, for which they wrapped gifts, created and decorated snowy cards, decorated the offices with Christmas themes, and shared with them recreational activities, music and storytelling.  Santa and his assistants were present to hear the children's requests.

In El Salvador, students from the Caserío El Saucec school shared a morning of fun and Christmas spirit as they enjoyed the activities that Samsung's office had prepared for them. The students visited all the departments to learn how the company works and to inspire them to be future Samsung talents.

This activity is framed in the vision "Together for Tomorrow! EnablingPeople" vision, which aims for small actions to achieve significant changes, in the social environment with an emphasis on education.
