Business Incubation Bootcamp to be held in San Salvador

Written by Evelyn Alas

The Micro and Small Enterprise (CONAMYPE) with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), conducted a Business Incubation Bootcamp in the department of San Salvador.

This year five Bootcamps will be held nationwide (San Salvador, La Libertad, San Miguel, Santa Ana and Sonsonate), and it is expected the participation of about 25 entrepreneurs in each of the venues where the activity will take place.

These Bootcamps are intended to provide participating entrepreneurs with the opportunity to acquire and strengthen skills to develop entrepreneurial initiatives in the idea or start-up phase, and that do not exceed 3 years of operation.

The activity is developed within the framework of the National Entrepreneurship Policy and with the objective of positioning innovation in the processes of business creation by the participating entrepreneurs.

The Bootcamp is an opportunity for entrepreneurial training and a space for co-creation of ideas in which participating entrepreneurs will learn to design their business model quickly, helping them to think of alternative solutions that create value.

This type of event seeks to identify dynamic business ideas with growth potential, which will be strengthened by the Entrepreneurship Unit, so that they do not remain just an idea, but become operating ventures that generate sales and jobs in a short period of time.

CONAMYPE integrates a model for the development of enterprises, taking as a reference the development process of enterprises from their creation, in order to design support tools for entrepreneurs, since there is an area of intersection between entrepreneurship policies and policies for the development of MSEs.
