The president of Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA), Federico Anliker López, indicated in an interview about the approval with 64 votes by the Legislative Assembly (LA) of the first public-private partnership in the country for the modernization and expansion project of the cargo terminal of the International Airport of El Salvador.

The Expansion and Modernization Project was presented this morning by CEPA, PROESA and MOP officials to deputies of the Legislative Assembly. Under the Public-Private Partnership scheme, private investment in the first phase amounts to US$14 million and US$49 million in the second phase.

The president of the Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma Federico Anliker, presented the first Public Private Partnership project expected to be executed in the country to increase the capacity and operations of the cargo air terminal of the Aeropuerto Internacional de El Salvador “San Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez”.
