These resources will allow the collegiate body to comply with the ordinary operating commitments and obligations programmed for the last quarter of the current fiscal year.

Congressman Christian Guevara, president of the legislative board, expressed that this budgetary reinforcement will allow the TSE to have money available to strengthen its institutional work, in view of the 2024 electoral process.

During the study of this initiative, the legislators received the Deputy general director of Budget of the Ministry of Finance, Laura Arce. She explained that the allocation of these funds will not generate an extra expense in the State's finances, since the income was obtained with the implementation of the tax amnesty, which was in force until november 1st.

In this respect, the parliamentarian William Soriano said that the allocation of the funds will be possible due to the efficiency in the management of the State's finances.

"It is important to know that this reform seeks to incorporate resources to the TSE for its operation, thanks to the good management of public funds we can now allocate funds to the institutions that require it", said the legislator of Nuevas Ideas.

In another matter, the Treasury Commission ruled in favor of exonerating the la Asociación Gloria Reyes from paying any kind of taxes and storage costs that may be caused by the introduction into the country of a container with various medical articles from the United States.

Representative Guevara detailed that among the articles are electric hospital beds, inflatable beds, blankets and sheet sets, walkers with resting devices, walkers for quadriplegics, surgical gowns and other implements that will be of great help to the population in the health area.
