Regular gasoline remains at US$4.15 per gallon this fortnight

Given the sharp increase in the market price of fuels, salvadorans will not perceive changes or variations in the prices of super, regular and diesel gasoline from may 17 to 30, 2022.

The Ministry of Economy has informed through its Twitter account that regular gasoline in the central, western and eastern zone will remain at a price of US$4.15 per gallon.

People who purchase super gasoline will be able to acquire it at the gas station of preference at a suggested cost of US$4.32 and US$4.31, in the central, western and eastern zone.
As for the carriers who use diesel, the value will be US$4.14 in the central, western and eastern zones of the country.
 
 
According to the latest close according to a spanish media outlet with more than 150 oil indexes and blends worldwide, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil as of yesterday, monday, was trading at US$110.83 while a barrel of U.S. West Texas (WTI) crude oil is at US$109.91.
 
 
Brent lost about 0.7 percent, as its close as of friday, may 13, was US$111.55 per barrel, while WTI's loss was 0.5 percent, with a close of US$110.49 per barrel for may 13.
