The presidential commissioner for Strategic Projects, Cristian Flores, informed that investment projects of Salvadoreños Residentes en el Exterior (SALEX), have generated important benefits to the country, such as employment and local development.

According to the official, salvadorans living abroad have already consolidated an investment of US$215 million by 2022.

He said that from the Organismo Promotor de Inversiones y Exportaciones (PROESA), the technical teams follow up the investment initiatives to give them an agile service and provide the respective legal security.

Some examples of the works under execution are the Hospital H+ in the eastern zone, a shrimp plant in Usulután, La Gran Aventura in Morazán, small hotels, automotive mechanics workshops, among others.

SALEX investor, Edwin Argueta, invites all salvadorans abroad to make the country prosper with their investments.

Argueta is the one who has put the resources for La Gran Aventura, in Yoloaiquín. It is US$1 million to install natural pools, mechanical games, extreme sports, among others, on 10 blocks of land.

The contribution of this community of compatriots is even broader than sending almost US$600 million monthly in family remittances. There is support to create jobs, bring development to the communities and contribute to sustainable growth.
