Housing has invested a total of US$366 million to facilitate access to a safe roof

The head of the Ministry of Housing, Michelle Sol, highlighted that the institution has invested US$366 million in different programs to facilitate access to a safe roof.

The official highlighted that they have delivered 3,500 contributions for construction and improvement (of the housing site), 4,500 deeds and have disbursed 17,000 credits.

Sol indicates that the tasks to procure this right of the population have an even greater scope. For example, in coordinated actions between the Defensoría del Consumidor (DC), the Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), plus other institutions, Vivienda is seeking that 350,000 families have access to the deeds they paid for years ago.

Minister Sol also affirms that they are contributing with the regularization of the deeds of the

schools, so that the Ministry of Education can make the respective investments to improve the conditions in which children and young people receive their classes.
