25-pound propane gas cylinder will cost the public US$11.13 without subsidy

The Ministry of Economy (MINEC), announced new variations in the prices of Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG), which will be in effect from friday 31 to january 30, 2022.

The presentation of the most used gas cylinder by the salvadoran population is the 25 pound cylinder, for the month of january to the final consumer will cost US$13.50 and will have a decrease of US$2.37 remaining at US11.13 and with subsidy will cost US$3.09.

Likewise, people who purchase the 35 pound liquefied gas presentation will cost US$18.82 presenting a decrease of US$3.32 and will be US$15.50 for retail sale and with subsidy will cost US$7.46.

The 20 pound presentation will cost US$10.88 and will decrease US$1.90, remaining at a price of US$8.98 and with subsidy it will cost US$0.94.

As for the 10-pound gas presentation, its price will be US$5.57 and will decrease US$0.96, reaching a price of US$4.61.

If your gas is about to run out, you can take advantage of this price decrease to make the purchase, so it will not affect the preparation of your food and the meal schedules of you and your family.
