The initiative seeks to strengthen the protection of consumer rights by promoting good business practices, transparency, safety and quality in goods and services.
The President of the Defensoría del Consumidor (DC), Ricardo Salazar informed in a conference that today was launched the second phase of the Incentive Program for Good Practices, “Aquí se respeta a los consumidores”, in order to promote compliance with the Ley de Protección al Consumidor among suppliers of goods and services.
This will allow users to feel safe when purchasing products or services in establishments that already have the verification sticker.
