"We hope, if the climate trend continues as before, that in the next month of January we have very good news regarding prices, since ... we see how (energy) behaves with respect to the previous quarter, we have all observed that the trend for the next quarter is downward”, she said.
Last September, the price of electric power for residential use showed an increase, which remains in force until January.
It is important to remember that energy rates change every three months, specifically on January 15, April, July, and October.
The electric power distributors in the country publish the rates that will be applied quarterly in compliance with Article 90 of the Regulation of the General Electricity Law. The prices are guaranteed by the General Superintendence of Electricity and Telecommunications (Siget).
