This support initiative consisted of recognizing the work of journalists who report to every salvadoran home, by providing protection kits with biosecurity supplies, which will make journalists carry out their work more safely.
The donation was given to reporters, cameramen and communicators. Thanks to their commitment, salvadorans have timely information to work on prevention, and care of their families.
Fundación Poma led the initiative and worked with the media and the Association of Journalists of El Salvador (APES) on a census, as well as providing masks to be included in each of the kits.
FUSAL gave its support with packages of masks, as well as with the preparation and delivery of the kits. PAILL delivered vitamins such as Phosphoneuromax, Ferromax, and Multivitamins PL+Zinc.
Two more companies also joined the effort, one of them was Dollarcity, which donated alcohol gel; Termoencogibles gave gabachas, and gloves.
"For PAILL it is a pleasure to collaborate with such valuable initiatives as this one, led by Fundación Poma. As a company we have a high degree of social commitment with journalists, whom we consider allies. We know these are difficult times, but efforts of this kind are what will move us forward as a country”, said Crissia Montoya, PAILL's Corporate Affairs Manager.
These donations are part of PAILL's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, called "This is how we build tomorrow," with a focus on community support, and health care.
