The important articulated work with the Central Government was also highlighted, allowing a better approach to the needs of the population. In response to President Nayib Bukele's mandate. The spectrum of attention was broadened, putting the customer at the center of the business, working with micro and large companies and also working on tourism infrastructure projects such as the Surf City Program.

As of december 2020, BH became the fifth largest bank in the financial system in terms of both deposit and loan portfolios. Achieving, for example in the deposit portfolio, a growth of more than 23.6 percent, which corresponds to more than $280.4 million, that is, the bank has grown 5.5 times more than the rest of the banks.

The bank's president indicated that "We have restored the population's confidence in banking. We are promoting financial inclusion so that all sectors have access to credit and do not turn to other types of services for loans", she confirmed, referring to the “Cero Usura”, line of financing, aimed at combating this practice.

And this confidence is reflected in the data that support Banco Hipotecario, for example, at the end of july 2022 it has grown with more than $1.4 billion in deposits, more than $1.1 billion in loans, more than $1.7 billion in assets and more than $160 million in equity; and being able to reach these numbers is only a sign of the high confidence of the clients and the good work that is being done as an institution.

All of the above is developed together with the continuous improvement in the bank's financial performance over the last three years and with it comes also an improvement in the risk rating, going from AA- at the end of 2019 to an AA rating to date. This improvement in the risk rating corresponds to those entities that have a very high capacity to pay their obligations in the terms and terms agreed, which would not be affected by possible changes in the entity.

The members of the committee congratulated the president of Banco Hipotecario for her outstanding role at the head of the institution, emphasizing the diversification of the bank's products and services in favor of the needs of the population, its work in the area of inclusion and empowerment of women, through its "“Cero Usura” and “Inclusión Mujer”, lines, and the evident support given to the different financial sectors of the country.
