La Constancia announces its comprehensive platform to promote a smart drinking culture

Reaffirming its commitment to a culture of responsibility, La Constancia consolidates in a comprehensive platform called "Smart Consumption" its actions focused on informing, promoting responsible consumption patterns and providing a diverse portfolio of products with different alcohol contents, as well as non-alcoholic beverages to promote moderate consumption and encourage positive experiences with its brands.

In this August vacation season, the campaign “Aprendiendo a conocer nuestro cuerpo y los efectos del alcohol” will be disseminated, which gathers a series of data on the assimilation of alcohol in the body according to various individual factors of each person such as weight, size, hours of sleep, etc., which influence its consumption and allow making decisions for responsible consumption.

From this platform, La Constancia encompasses a set of initiatives focused on achieving better consumption patterns and better business practices in the company to offer alternatives in beverages, all aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) to ensure a healthy life and promote well-being for all.

In El Salvador, "Smart Consumption" is developing specific actions such as:

  1. Alianza Cruz Roja Salvadoreña: A cooperation agreement for a call to raise awareness about having responsible behaviors that is activated during the holiday seasons through contingency plans that will promote Cruz Roja, Plan de Semana Santa, Plan Verano and Plan Belén and that will allow La Constancia to have presence in the 18 water and road posts nationwide.
  2. Educational campaigns: to share information on responsible consumption through its website and corporate social networks and promote good decision making

And in the future, other topics will be promoted, such as the "Parents' Guide", which provides guidance on how to address the issue of alcohol with different ages in a conscious, preventive and clear way; the beer culture, which is a broad topic of pairings with food and brands, among other actions that will be integrated "Throughout history, beer has united people from many cultures around the world. Within the framework of the Agostina vacation, the platform becomes more relevant to achieve a moderate enjoyment in salvadorans and positive experiences among responsible consumers.
