For being considered a model of perseverance and excellence for Salvadoran children and youth, Fernando Domínguez was named as #OrgulloCUSCATLAN by the financial institution, who also provided an economic incentive through his CUENTA FUTURO to contribute to the university education he plans to pursue abroad.

Fernando was received at the Digital Tribe of Banco CUSCATLAN, where he was given an orientation tour about the different positions that the market is currently demanding, and was also offered the opportunity to do an internship upon his return from Norway, where he will participate in the World Mathematics Championship.

"His potential is extremely valuable for the country and for the new generations of salvadoran talent, for us it is a Orgullo CUSCATLAN and we hope that with our support and that of more Salvadoran companies, Fernando can make his dream come true and very soon we will see him succeeding in his professional life as a systems engineer, data scientist, or whatever role he is most passionate about", said Rafael Barrientos, Director of Technology and Digital Transformation of Banco CUSCATLAN, who also guided the gold medalist on the different centers of higher education internationally with more experience in the careers of interest to the young man.

Fernando Domínguez, 18 years old, placed El Salvador as the only Latin American country to win a gold medal and is committed to make his best effort next july in Norway to represent El Salvador in an exceptional way.

"I thank the bank for believing in my potential, I am very excited to come to know what each of the roles of the Fábrica Digital, does, I know that it is a trend worldwide and that the opportunities for my professional development multiply both inside and outside the country by preparing me in these areas, and having this experience will help me focus my academic efforts in the future", said Dominguez.

The student is part of the Young Talent program of El Salvador, and his merit in this 2022 stands out beyond the gold, as he obtained it in a competition in which 318 students from 35 different countries participated, and where only 9 gold medals were awarded.
